A REALLY long time

Ok, I know it's been a really long time now. Just a few updates on what has happened in the past almost 2 years.

• Moved to Utah on Thanksgiving 2009
• Flew back to CA for Christmas (literally a month later)
• Spring '10 - Braedyn played coach pitch baseball
• Chaylee continued with dance at a few places
• Chaylee has switched to gymnastics & LOVES it!
• Flew back to CA a few more times (something like 6, but who's couting...)
• On a sad note, Raeme's father passed away on June 5th, 2010. "Rocket" Ron will always be remembered.
• 4th of July 2010 up at Wolf Creek with our Utah family, the Browns.
• Visit to see Uncle Mike in Ogallala, NE. Good times!
• Had a visit from the Kovars on Thanksgiving 2010.
• Bought a timeshare in January 2011
• March 2011 - Raeme and I had a week long trip to Hawaii (Oahu & Kauai) with our best friends, Jim & Jennifer.
• March 2011 - Braedyn starts machine pitch baseball. This time we were actually calling balls and strikes, outs & safes. He LOVED it! Only one problem though.... he was on the Ya-ya-ya- (I can hardly say the name)... Yankees.
• Easter 2011 - Back to CA. Hosted by my mother and step-dad in Riverside.
• May '11- I head to Phoenix & LA for basketball camps. Got to see family in Phoenix I haven't seen in a while.
• June '11 - This was a busy month.
  • Basketball camps, trip to Moab, Papa came to visit, Chaylee & Braedyn had separate birthday parties, Raeme's birthday, Chaylee & I had a daddy-daughter date, Grammy came to visit.
• 4th of July '11 - we went back up to Wolf Creek and had a great time with Grammy, the Browns, and the Ralphs.
• Then it just rolled over to July and this month is almost over now. Braedyn & Chaylee were baptized, Grandma Cora, Nana, Grandpa Cliff, and Grandpa Skinner all came to visit.

Long time!

Ok, I know all of us use Facebook a lot (especially me). But I was messing around on Google and remembered that I haven't posted anything in a while. So here's an update since my last post.

• Braedyn finished out his T-ball season as one of the top players on the team. I think he LOVES baseball. I keep asking him what he wants to be when he grows up and he says, "A construction worker and an Angels baseball player." Now that he has a father that works for OSHA, I might convice him of something else. Maybe a architect would be good.
• Chaylee had her dance recital this past summer and she was the best dancer out of the entire recital (of course I'm gonna say that; I'm her dad). She looked SO cute! Will post pics later. She continues to dance and loves it. It's her one thing that she looks forward to every week.
• Raeme is amazing! What more can I say about her??! Recently (like last week) lost her job with Optimist. They decided to close the OC office because it wasn't bringing in enough and they kind gave her the raw end of the deal in any kind of severance package. But now that we are moving to Utah, this will give her more of an opportunity to be home with the children and focus on raising our family (including me, hahaha).
• And lastly, the mule that hauls it in and the... well, let's just leave it at that. Let's see since March, I've been laid off from my job, got a new job, and now we are moving to Utah. I currently am a system administrator with Valdez International, who is a contractor for the Department of Labor (OSHA). Great job, much better than the last position I had. Great people and great place to work. Have some great family and a bunch of great friends up here in Utah helping us out (Jim & Jen, you guys are family).

Thanks to everyone who has been so supportive and helpful in this stressful and challenging time. We love you all!

We will definitely miss you all in CA (especially family :( , but you can visit :) ). We love our wards in Lake Forest and Ridgecrest. You are all truly our friends!

Two Thousand Eight

2008

Well, 2008 has almost come to a close. I thought I would update our blog since I haven't done so for a while (since football). We are so grateful to have had such an awesome year.

At this particular time in the year is when we celebrate the birth and life of the Savior. We are so grateful for His example and we are always trying to pattern our lives after Him. We know that He looks out for each and every one of us. We have been blessed abundantly in so many ways that we will always be indebted unto Him. We have strived in our lives to think, say, and do those things as if the Savior were right beside us. We bear witness that He lives today. He knows each of us and what we are capable of becoming. He atoned for the sins of the world and for that we are eternally grateful.

There are many things that have happened this year. We would like to share just a few with you.

Braedyn - enjoyed staying home with Mom and learning new things in preparation for kindergarten, kept going with taekwondo, turned 5 this year, played baseball and basketball with his dad, played his first year of flag football, started kindergarten & loves to learn new things, loves to sing all the time, made new friends in a new place, signed up for Saddleback Little League (T-ball), loves playing the Wii, and enjoys playing with his sister.

Chaylee - almost the same things as Braedyn, however, she LOVES to be with her Mom, absolutely LOVES dance & would go every day if she could, learning/preparing for kindergarten with mom, loves playing around the house with her brother, cheerleading for Braedyn's football team, started kindergarten and loves to learn, Chaylee also loves to play the Wii, loves to play house and with her babies.

Raeme - was able to stay home after we moved to OC, get the twins enrolled in preschool, started

Weight Watchers, started working part time with Amedisys (formerly TLC), taught Valiant 11, was in the Primary Presidency, and now teaches Valiant 12, was the Business Manager for Chaylee's cheer squad, spent tons of time with her mom before they moved to Texas, helped assist with the service for the passing of Margorie Sendzik, started working full time at Optimist, enjoyed decorating and celebrating each holiday, got the twins all set up with kindergarten and enjoys taking them there every day.

Brad - officiated basketball, plays basketball, and watches basketball (Lakers), called as an assistant Elder's Quorum secretary and instructor, continuing to work at AACN, went to some basketball summer camps, coached Braedyn's football team, called as Elder's Quorum President, continues to hit the gym and the court, started officiating basketball for the new season, and most of all loves his family with all his heart.

The Sendzik's have had an up and down year, but it has been pretty good for us. We had the passing of two wonderful people in our lives this year, Grandma and Grandpa Sendzik. They will truly be missed. We've had a lot of fun going to many places this year: Vegas, St. George, San Diego, the beach, back up to Ridgecrest, out to mom's new home in Riverside, Menefee, Perris, all around Orange County, and soon out to Laredo, Texas.

Last Regular Season Game

Well, our game on Saturday was the last one for the season. We played Rancho Santa Margarita and it was a great game! Our boys ran hard, played hard and so did they! We all had so much fun. We also we fortunate enough to come away with the win, but it was a hard fought battle on both sides of the ball. Here are some pics from that game.

Anaheim Game

And no it wasn't at Disneyland, but just down the road. Last Saturday we had our 2nd to last game against Anaheim. We won this one and it was a great time for all! Still not sure how much Braedyn likes football, but he is getting better with each passing week. This football experience has been just that. I am not sure that "Coach Brad" is cut out for football coaching. But when we are talkin' about the round ball, then it's a whole different ball game. Anyway, our last regular season game is tomorrow against Rancho Santa Margarita. Should be fun! After that we have a "Bowl" game on the 18th.
