One tough game...

Well, it's a good and sad day for the SV Gold Bears. We lost our game last Saturday to North Long Beach, 26-20. We played a good game, but they just ran all over us. We had a few concerns with the officials, but that wasn't the major problem. We just didn't break down and "tackle" (pull flags) properly. All the kids had long faces that they lost, but then I asked them. "Did you guys have fun?" They all screamed, "YEAH!" And that is the important part. They are 5-7 years old and they should be having fun no matter what the outcome is. Here's some pics of our football star and the rest of the team.

"Why they always gotta gang up on me?"

"I'm comin', Falcetti"

"Hey, Logan! These mouth pieces sure do taste good, don't they?"

Our first test of the season

Well, we made it! We are officially 3 - 0! We had our first test of the season this past Saturday against La Harbra. They scored 2 quick touchdowns on us in the first half. Our defense was having trouble breaking down the run, but we adjusted. We were able to score once just before the end of the first half. We took half time, got fired up by Coach Seth, and went back out there and shut them down! They didn't score the whole second half and we were able to tack on 2 more touchdowns.

This week we travel up to North Long Beach. They have a record of 1 - 2, but didn't lose the last game by much. We anticipate to have the same kind of test with this team as we did with La Habra. However, we have been working on some things that we haven't before. We will see how it goes on Saturday.
GO BEARS!!!

Princess Chaylee and Prince Charming...

Dancing with your daughter is one of those treasured moments you can't let pass by. Kinda like that commercial of a dad and his daughter doing cheerleading on the sidewalk.

Saddleback Valley Pop Warner Flag Football Team 1st game!

We just got finished playing our first official game and we look good! The cheerleaders cheered, the boys blocked, ran, and scored! It was a great game for everyone! Parents donated money every time they scored a touchdown. I was even able to get some film of Braedyn running the football for the first time. He loved it! Here are some pictures and video:

More fun at Disneyland

It is such a wonderful blessing to be able to go to Disneyland with the twins! It can be challenging at times, but looking at the pictures makes me realize that it was all worth it!
